Period is now 8 days overdue, been cramping for nearly a week and a half straight no pregnancy symptoms other than tender breasts.. took two tests both came back negative but I've just noticed after wiping that there's a small amount of brown discharge on the tissue followed by clear discharge.. so confused!! Anyone have any ideas? I'm going to do another test if AF still doesn't arrive in the next couple of days. Anyone experienced anything like this?

Hi @Sydneyloves
I don't know a huge amount about this but one explanation could be that you ovulated later than you thought which means it's too early to test yet. It would explain why you've been getting symptoms and bfn. I would leave it another week and if no af poas again. If still bfn then make a gp apt. To be on the safe side.
Hope this helps xxx

Yes my period was late and I did a test. .. bfn. A few days later another- same. This continued for 17 days and finally on the 17th day did one last test and got a positive!! Don't want to build up your hopes but you never know.

PS I'm now 11 days overdue which is another difficult waiting time for different reasons 😕

Sometime we just miss a period for no reason. I was once 3 weeks "late". My cycle is very regular did lots of tests all bpn. A week later af arrived on time like nothing happened.

I wouldn't go to your doctor just yet unless you have any worrying symptoms.

I was late by 11 days and took about 8 tests... all BFN and still no AF. He’s now 11 weeks old 🙄😂
