Reassurance scan

I have booked in for a reassurance scan on Saturday, I will be 6weeks. I am now starting to second guess my decision.

I booked it as we had a MMC 6 years ago and it's take us 3 rounds of IVF to get another BFP.

What would you do in my position?

1-Go, and there be a possibility of it being too early, thus causing stress.
2-Go and be reassured that you can see something.
3-Or wait till 8 weeks?

Not as far along as I thought! I thought I was just over 6 weeks, but the sonographer said it's measuring just under 6 weeks. Need to work out what due date that gives me!

I had my scan today, I'm so glad I did, lady said I'm under 6wk but we saw the heart beat.
I'm not too worried as at that size I don't believe they can be absolutely accurate until 8w.
I measured 2.3mm and saw the flicker of the heart.
I feel like a small weights been lifted. Now we've just got to wait till the 8 week scan and keep fingers crossed everything keeps going well.
I did get told I had 2 cysts measuring approx 4.5cm on one ovary and. A couple of smaller ones on the other. Has anyone else had this?

Congratulations! If you had a fresh IVF cycle then the cysts they're seeing will be the follicles filling up with fluid again. It's very common for ovaries to be quite enlarged for a while especially with all the pregnancy hormones about.

I have a cyst! Went from 2cm to 5cm in 1 week so have to go back in two weeks and if it's got any bigger or not pooped itself then they need to pop it!
