Breastfeeding chair. What would you suggest?

DP and I would like to put a chair in the nursery for me to breastfeed and for him to hold baby. I'm 19 weeks and would like to buy one soon as we are spreading out the cost of things over the next 20 or so weeks.

My question... what kind of chair would you recommend? We are on a budget so anything £100 or under (fancy or designer is not a necessity but also don't want an eye sore!)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks. N.

The non rocking Ikea poang with footstool is perfect, although I didn't need it from day one as we fed in bed at first. It gently bounces and the cover is easily washable in case of baby vom.

I think it was Churchill that said "Never stand up when you can sit down, and never sit down when you can lie down"

I wont let him down Grin

We have a normal Next armchair in nursery that is great for BFing in as nice high arms. Glad we didn’t go for a specific BF chair as we haven’t had huge use of it as most feeds are done in bed as DS still in our room.
We got in on sale for around £100...

Hi I know this is an old thread but I was wondering if anyone had updated advice on glider chairs. I’m expecting twins shorting, planning to breast feed and wanted somewhere I could feed them them both in the night in the nursery. I’m thinking if was to feed together in the rugby position the arms on most of these rocking chairs would get in my way but unsure. Any advice would be appreciated.
