Hiya, I'm sarah- and new to mn.
I'm in the 12th week of pregnancy and still sleeping alot. I'm usually proactive and finding this really debilitating. I sleep from 9 til 5 then sleep with one year old through day. It's ridiculous how tired I feel all the time. Any one else? And does it get better? Xx

You should (hopefully 🤞) start to feel better after this week. Everything seems to settle down for a bit after 12 weeks. I was alright and then the tirdness hit me again at around 30ish weeks. Hope you feel better soon! x

usernotfound0000 · 12/06/2018 14:52

Around 13 weeks I'd say, generally started to feel better overall at that point.

Ooooooo quick replies......
Thankyou. It's my fourth and I have not been like this before. I'm sick too but that stayed with me throughout all the other pregnancys until I gave birth. This fatigue is new and is messing with my anxiety. Xx

I'm 11+1 with my first and I hear you on the tiredness. I have never felt so exhausted! People keep saying week 12 is when everything gets better and although only a week away it feels like ages. Really looking forward to getting some energy back! I have a 3pm cut off now, any work I do after that seems to need redone in the morning. Utterly useless after that time!

BlueBug45 · 12/06/2018 15:25

16 weeks.

Now it's back at 27 weeks.

And no I'm not anaemic.

Apileofballyhoo · 12/06/2018 15:29

Surprised nobody has posted to say when their youngest child left home... Mine went maybe around 16 weeks. But I do remember never being so utterly exhausted.

Sparklingtastesgood · 12/06/2018 15:32

Emma198 · 12/06/2018 15:34

I'm 16 weeks and no sign of it getting any better!

happymummy12345 · 12/06/2018 15:34

I never felt that tired during my pregnancy. Certainly nowhere near extreme tiredness. I felt the same as before I was pregnant. Even at the end I wasn't particularly tired at all.

bellanotte22 · 12/06/2018 15:39

I'm 17 weeks and exhausted. Keep waiting for the magic 2nd trimester boost but it's taking it's time Hmm

Lexie82 · 12/06/2018 15:39

Mine stopped about 14 weeks but now 28 and I can't make it through the day!! At work and tempted to go to toilet to rest my eyes for 5 minutes....it's SO hard........but not forever, then will have baba that will make us even more tired! ;o)

lancslass17 · 12/06/2018 16:07

Mine continued until I took iron tablets then it was like someone flipped a switch and I felt like me again.

AuntieStella · 12/06/2018 16:08

I was basically dormant in the first and third trimesters

LBNM19 · 12/06/2018 16:20

I'm 16 weeks and i have to sleep every day. It's driving me round the twist.

This is my 4th pregnancy and i don't remember when it stopped before.

At least I've stopped being sick every day though Hmm xx

unicornchaser · 12/06/2018 16:26

Sorry OP probably not what you want to hear but I'm 20 weeks today and still exhausted! Possibly more so now than first trimester 😩 think it's all very individual, some days I'm ok but most the time I barely have enough energy to get through my day at work (office job so not even strenuous)

I didn't have any sickness or nausea though so I'm thinking the tiredness is just my payment for skipping the sickness!

Excited0803 · 12/06/2018 16:52

Worth getting your thyroid and your iron levels checked both of those can be affected by pregnancy and cause the type of fatigue you describe. Hope you feel better soon.

msmsms · 12/06/2018 17:08

At about 16 weeks or so it vanishes for me...

Mousefunky · 12/06/2018 19:03

19 weeks and still exhausted.

Sparklingtastesgood · 12/06/2018 20:51

I had full blood check at 10 week and was shocked to hear they were all normal. I think hearing anaemia then takung iron would make me feel better- but to realise that it is pregnancy sucks because I know there's 28 week left! Arghhhhhh. I'm sick twice at least and am in bed again for second time today. Happy Tuesday night everyone. Hope your all tucked up too ;)
