Sweep

Had a sweep today 39 weeks..... has it worked for anyone at 39 weeks?

Midwife said it's new that the nhs have started to do this at 39 weeks but it's to tackle you going over due.

I would say no :(
I had 3 from 39+5 and each time I went back it seemed that there was no progress. It was really frustrated. I ended up being induced at 41+6 and that ended in an emergency C section. All worth it in the end though, I know it's hard waiting but try and keep yourself busy and take the due date out of your mind.

I though the same to be honest @UrgentExitRequired I kinda feel like as painful as it was it's not going to bring it on! The things they put you through being pregnant! Lol I've got another booked in next week and then she said if it doesn't work it will be an induction the week after.

You just want it to be like a fairytale don't you, the sweep happens the baby is here and you skip off into the sunset ha x
