Im in my second trimester (18 weeks) and i am sleeping 10pm until 7.30am then 9am to 12pm then 2pm until 4pm. I am just exhausted i feel run down and quite low. Is this normal im not sure whether its my mood dipping (i have bipolar) or just being pregnant. Thanks in advance.

If you sleep like that every single day then you need to get your iron level checked out asap. Also ask if you can have your vitamin D level tested as well as low levels of that also make you sleep loads.

If possible take someone else to the appointment with you and be prepared to put up a fight.

I couldn't say. My tiredness began to wear off around 16 weeks, however I'm now 19 weeks and I still need the odd nap every other day. I'd suggest finding something that keeps you busy and interested, or get yourself out and about? Do you know if you have low blood pressure? Because that could be a factor too.

Talk to your midwife about your concerns and they should help and support you Flowers
