strange feeling

hello everyone just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them before

currently nearly 37 weeks pregnant

had infections (thrush) on and of used treatment each time

this morning i went to the toilet, flushed and then needed to cough so sat back down and coughed

i had a feeling of a small ball coming out and then heard it fall into the toilet, not a splash but a plop sound?

i looked but couldnt see anything

had my normal cramps on and of but nothing else

any ideas?

Sounds like your mucus plug.

Nothing much to worry about. It can start to come away, esp with coughing etc around this time.

Sounds like it was your mucous plug. It doesn't mean anything, though. Just keep an eye out, and if you've any concerns then give maternity a ring.

I know the plug doesnt mean much was just a bit confused as what it could be 😂
