I am 13+1. Had my 12 week scan on Friday and all was fine. I had aches which feel like pressure and have been coming and going. I wonder if this could be stretching or should I call midwife in morning

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

@Mhcb it’s probably perfectly normal. Is this your first baby? Everything is stretching at quite a rate down there and baby will be doing some mega growing.

If I were you, I’d contact my midwife just so that she could put my mind at ease.

its growing pains :) think about all those muscles in there stretching incredibly fast, organs moving to accommodate etc. plus the baby will be starting to wriggle around!

perfectly normal so dont stress, i have them still sometimes, 17 weeks and expect theyll go on for some time xx

Thanks for the advice. It is my first baby well after a miscarriage last year at 7 weeks. So all new to me and did read it normal.

My midwife said same that it's will be due to stretching and only to worry if accompanied with bleeding.
