Normal for bump to be achy? 21 weeks

Just checking in to see if it's normal for lower bump area to be achy at 21 weeks. Feels like growing/muscle type pains and struggled to lift my legs to put my socks on this morning haha. Can't feel it when I'm sitting still relaxing but when I'm up and about it feels like I've pulled muscles in both side of my pelvis. I'm not that big yet and still wearing my normal clothes

I have had this this week, also at 21, so would be interested I reply’s too.

It could be round ligament pain where your belly is growing to make more room. Also get used to not putting your own socks on, I couldn't even bend down to put my own shoes on from 20 weeks I wore flip flops all through winter 😂

Yup growing my bump hurts and I'm frequently achey. Also 21 weeks.

I can't remember when exactly it started but I know that a conference I went to at 23 weeks I had what I referred to in a text message to my husband as 'major achy bump'! I found it would get worse as the day goes on, but then ease off in the evening once I was off my feet. I think it was exactly as you say, growing pains, and now at 35 weeks I've found they've come and gone over the last few months, presumably as I've been going through growth spurts. If it's any comfort, though, I am still putting my own socks on so this isn't necessarily the end of being able to reach your feet!

I remember buying a 'bump band' which can give extra support and stops the muscles aching so much. Then resold it on eBay :-)

Glad I'm not the only one getting this that is very reassuring. On my feet all day at work so hasn't eased much throughout the day so I'll be having a relaxing evening tonight

It was definitely worse when I'd been on my feet. Nice bath did the trick.

Was just checking the forums to see if anything like this posted recently! I'm 21 weeks this week and I've been having some funny pains all day, little pinching or shooting pains at various points around my bump. Probably is ligament pain or baby moving around (??) But assuring to see its not just me getting aches at this stage 😊
