Has anyone tried a shnuggle bath for a newborn? Just wondering if they are good or not

I clicked on the thread to say a schnuggle!

I didn't use it from newborn, but got it when DD was too big to wash in the washing up bowl that I thought would do until she was big enough for a proper bath

She absolutely loved being able to sit in it. I had to stop using it at around 7 months though as she was an early cruiser/walker and would try and stand up in it. It should do most babies much longer than that.

Will be using it for imminently due DC2 from newborn. The washing up bowl has since been repurposed as outside water play equipment for DC1.

Somebody gave me a tummy tub. It was very useful for soaking poo-stained babygros. We used the old-fashioned small bath-style baby bath, then the ordinary bath once she could sit up.

Yes a schnuggle bath is really good. The bump in the middle helps keep the baby in position. Also the high back is great for baby to lean against - I had to use a flat shallow baby bath once while we were away and realised how useful the schnuggle is in comparison.

We loved our stokke folding bath - nice to be able to tuck it away, and as it is a really good size we still popped it inside the tub for more efficient bathtimes until well after 12 months, and it came on holiday with us to wash kids even older.

We used the schnuggle bath on our premature new born and loved it. I found the shape & design of it much easier to hold the baby.

I clicked on the thread to say Schnuggle bath! Brilliant. Used it from newborn and it lasted us til about 10 months. So great to not have the worry of slippy baby sliding down the bath. Easier to hold the baby. Really recommend!!
