Could I be pregnant? Help!

Hi,

Please don't judge me but I had an abortion on 9th May (a decision me and my partner regret). I stopped bleeding 2 weeks after and felt fine. Was told to do a HCG test on 26th May, this was negative indicating successful termination. I then out of curiosity as we have been having sex since done a pregnancy test and it straight away came up with a clear strong positive line. I rang the clinic and they said to do another test in a week which I did and it was the same a clear line not fainter, I have also done a digital one yesterday and it says pregnant 2-3 weeks. Could this be a new pregnancy or left over hormones?

If you've had a negative test after the termination and now a positive after having sex then I would say it's a stronger possibility of being pregnant again.

I think you will just have to wait the week and see unfortunately and then speak to them again.

Well this is why it's confusing though because the HCG test was done a week after we had sex, so im thinking the hormone level was too low to show anything but the pregnancy test picked it up as they are more sensitive.

I also forgot to add I've been bleeding this morning a bit but it has stopped now. Just not sure what to think, don't want to get hopes up.
