Brown spotting

Clearblue digital confirmed my pregnancy on 7th. Yesterday morning I woke up and went to the bathroom and noticed brown spotting when wiping. Totally freaked out and ended up in an early pregnancy unit as I've had an ectopic before. Obviously couldn't see anything on the scan and my tube looked ok. Took bloods and I go back tomorrow to see if my HCG is rising. Noticed some brown spotting after a bowel movement and it seems to come and go. Today I started with some cramps, feels like my period is coming but then goes away again. Any experience of this? I'm terrified.

Yeah! I have had this. My first pregnancy. It scared the shit out of me! I was so sure I was out.

It started as spotting but it got much more like a period. I had back pain. My pregnancy symptoms just dropped off. The blood was always brown though, not pink or red.

Had an early scan with the fertility clinic and there was a heartbeat. I was absolutely sure there wouldn't be.

They were concerned at the amount of discharge/blood so I was invited back the next week. By then, it had stopped and she was doing just fine.

It can happen sometimes, it's horrible.

@shonkyklingonmakeup I'm driving myself insane. It's like an ache where my hip bone is. I have also been constipated and don't know if it's all connected.

It's horrendous because there's nothing to do but to keep busy and wait. :( My fingers are crossed for you.

It's a miscarriage. Thanks for your kind words though x
