Moving at 19 weeks, how do I arrange 20 week scan?

Am moving 2 1/2 hours away from where we live now when I am 19 weeks. I am puzzling a bit as to how to get booked in for a 20 week scan as it always takes a bit of time to register with a gp.

We will be renting to start with and it is too early to look at the moment - moving end of july so have to sort out mid/late june. So won't have a local address until then.

Anyone know how i can arrange a scan in my new city?

I am going for the 12 week nuchal one in my current hospital but am worried that I will fall between 2 stools.

I don't want to travel back down to london for the 20 week scan as I will just have started my new job and don't want to miss a whole day as soon as I start. Especially as they don't know I am pregnant yet!

Could they do the 20 week one at 19 weeks? I don't know whether that's feasible (sp) but worth discussing with your midwife.

I think the "20 week scan" can be done anywhere from 18-22 weeks, so I'd ask them to do it early where you currently live.

(I'll be 18w6d when I get mine done in a couple of weeks)
