9 weeks pregnant and worried about symptoms

I'm 9 weeks today and for a good few weeks have been feeling really nauseous, the past few days not so much, this has got me worried, my boobs are sore, going to the toilet lots. I asked a midwife who said your symptoms can fluctuate. I had a private scan last Saturday and she put me at 8 weeks 3 days and saw a little heart beat flickering away. X

No expert, but from experience of my last pregnancy and this one (I'm nearly 12 weeks now) I've found symptoms have reduced around 9-10 weeks both times. Midwife said it's because the placenta starts to take over and the hormonal load on your body is less. I also had a scan at 8 weeks and was told (by a very experienced consultant) that after that showing no problems the risk of miscarriage is very low.

I was still worried when I went for my 12 week scan this week but all is good! Try not to worry. Congratulations!

@Naschkatze you just can't help worrying and I'm comparing this pregnancy to when I was pregnant with my son, was sick till about twelve weeks and that's what's on my mind. I know each pregnancy can be different. I'm hoping that having seeing a heartbeat at 6 weeks 3 days and 8 weeks things are going to be ok. Thank you!! Congratulations to you too!! Xx

Although I'm not 100% fine at the minute, I'm like you and have seen a big improvement in the nausea side of things.

I'm 8+6 today and I'd say I was at my worst between 5 and 7+5. I'd say my boobs hurt more now though and I'm getting super tired.

I've read that morning sickness peaks around 9 weeks for many, then peters off around 12-16 weeks so I don't think you should be worried.

My symptoms have come and gone since our BFP. Had a scan at 6 and 8 weeks as my symptoms had disappeared and was convinced baby was ‘gone’ but seen it on the scan 3 times now 💗.
Sore boobs and frequent wee breaks are still really good signs as are seeing the heartbeat at 8 weeks. There are a few websites (if you Google miscarriage risk calculator) that will tell you the likelihood of not miscarrying at each day of your pregnancy. That really helped on those anxious days

@m4rdybum have had terrible tramped wind today sorry for tmi that's made me feel sick. Got quite sore boobs and weeing lots. I think cause I'm comparing this pregnancy to when I was pregnant with my son. X

@MrsCrumbtious I've felt nauseous for a good few weeks now and just in the last day or so it's eased off, that's what has got me worried, but with you saying you've got sore boobs and weeing lots are really good signs and seeing the heartbeat at 8 weeks are good too. Xx
