Pain where ribs are/ under ??

I'm 16+4 and since lastnight I've had this annoying ache/pain under my ribs and a few times when I've stood up today I've had a sharp shooting pain which I think is round ligament pain. Has anyone else had this aching not sure if it's trapped wind? Had it a few times up to now but it's never lasted this long heard baby's heartbeat yesterday morning but didn't mention anything to midwife as it hadn't yet started ?

should be everything readjusting to make more room for baby, all your organs pushing up and out the way.
If you were further along I'd think it was baby having a kick.

I hope it is that I've not had any bleeding etc and everything on internet is saying baby has a growth spurt around 16 weeks just worrying as can't remember much from my last pregnancy so feels like the 1st time all over again x

Could the aching/pain under the ribs be acid? You can try Gaviscon to see if that helps.
My daughter had acid problems while she was pregnant. Similar symptoms to what you’re describing. She wasn’t necessarily burping anymore than usual or felt she was burping up acid but nonetheless we bought Gaviscon and it worked a treat.
Also like IlikemyTeahot said, baby will be pushing organs out of the way now. It could just be that. Oh the joys of pregnancy!

I might try some gaviscon tomorrow just to see if that helps any, thanks oh yes the joys I can't remember any of this with my first!
