Had a sweep today.. 39wks 2days

Hi guys! So had my sweep today, cervix Is soft & head engaged... midwife said she could feel baby's head!

So I've come home bouncing on my ball but wondered if that's enough or if I should go for a walk too. I know unless baby and body is ready labour is less likely to start but would like to think these things might also help?!
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I had a sweep today too!

Their not as bad as everyone says, my midwife said to keep active so I’ve been walking lots!!

I felt the same, it wasn't enjoyable but far from painful.
I lost my show this morning so I am hoping things are moving in the right direction. Just abit to set off for a walk... any signs for you?

I'm 41 weeks today . Was never actually offered a sweep, think I'll leave it at this stage. Yeah I'd say go for a walk but make sure you 1) have someone with you and 2) don't go to too far! Best of luck

Sweeps don’t do anything.

I don’t know why they bother offering to be honest.

I had 3 sweeps and did everything to try make my LG come out faster.her head was engaged and could feel the babies also waters bulging. She still came our 13 days late. Had to be induced twice!
Just have to be patient unfortunately lol
