Hi all,

Please tell me I'm not the only one with this?! just have a really achey tummy/ lower back and not sure whether its just a normal part of pregnancy at this stage due to added weight or whether I should speak with MW?

This has come on gradually this morning. Baby is still active . I work an office desk in a chair that's not the most comfortable, could it just be that?

Any advice would be massively received as not really sure whether this is normal?

Thanks,

No advice but im 25+5 and I feel your pain. My lower back is so sore. It comes and goes. I've started yoga to try and help it.

It’s probably normally pelvic girdle pain (your midwife can refer you to a physio if it continues) but it might be worth dropping off a urine sample with your GP/midwife to check for a UTI if it’s just come on today and you have a tummy ache too.

Hi both,

Thanks; I've been given a fancy new chair at work and has already really helped by back so not sure if its slightly posture related. Tummy ache has gone so not going to monitor and call triage later on if the pains come back!
