varicose veins - any tips please

I have varicose vains in my left leg - down the front of my thigh like a road map, behind my knee (proper ones here) and thread veins on part of my front lower leg. Glam I know!!

What can I do? I'm seeing my doc tomorrow. Last time I had to wear support tights but I couldn't manage in the summer heat. It was awful. Any help much appreciated xxx

I had them too when pg, I got them in the most embarrassing places. Keep putting your feet up and wearing support tights was the only advice I was given. They do mostly go away the day after you give birth.
