Got my birth ball last week, so far have just been bouncing gently and rocking back and forwards.
From now onwards... what can i be doing with it?

I think it helps just to sit on it for 30 mins a day. It makes you sit straight and helps to get the baby in the right position. I keep meaning to do this but first need to get husband to blow it up...

sit up straight on it, tighten your tummy muscles and then rock your pelvis back and forth slowly. more like a pelvis tilt than an actual big movement.

Also, can sit up straight, tighten tummy muscles and then try to slowly lift one foot off the ground without leaning to the other side. All movements should be slow and controlled. These two will help to relieve any pelvic / hip pain in later pregnancy and keep your core muscles strengthened. If you feel any discomfort then stop at once.
I was given these exercises by a physio so they are totally safe.

dh can launch himself across the room on his tummy on it and help strengthen your pelvic floor as you try not to pysl.
