My midwife is defo scatter brained but I feel so much better after meeting with consultant feel like I'm properly in the system now at new hospital.

Scan tomoz, heard doppler today, sounded like a galloping horse to me, that's a girl right? We shall find out tomorrow!

@Alicejj8x it's too late for ramzi unfortunately. Between 6-8 weeks for ramzi. The next will be nub theory around 12weeks.

@peachesarenom how exciting for your scan tomorrow. They say horse is girl and train is boy. We shall see how your pans out.

@peachesarenom really glad things are feeling abit more organised and your happier with everything.

I've got my first consultant appointment in just under two weeks which in a odd way I'm looking forward to.

I'm under a different trust here than previously so everything's done abit different to my past experience.

Oh no, the horse/train theory is confusing me now lol, sometimes when I listen on the doppler, Bean sounds like a galloping horse, but sometimes now it's more like a train 🤣😂🤣 I'm 'feeling' it may be a boy, but I'm normally wrong about everything lol.

Thank you ladies. All was ok at the scan! Bean is measuring 8+4 which although is behind my dates, is still more than 2 weeks ahead of where I was 2 weeks ago. Phew!

Ahh yay :) so glad to hear Bean is ok!!

Yeh they can measure off but they can then catch up at next scan I wouldn't worry :)

Oh @peachesarenom I know the feeling babe. I'd love a little girl but ultimately a baby will be lovely!! Haha!! I won't find out until birth. By the time he's here I bet you'll be so excited it's a blue one! 😉

Is anyone else here finding out gender? I'm waiting until birth so that my other half can tell me. However he's convinced it's a girl already so could be a bit if a shock if it's a boy!

I just called antenatal as was supposed to have heard about my 12 week scan by now, when I called they said I won't get a letter until I'm between week 12 and 13 and that's just what they do now... has anyone else experienced this?

I'm currently 8+5 so wasn't expecting to go yet just was hoping to have an appointment to work towards.

My scan would be any time between 12-14 weeks and not to worry as this is normal

@Murderino my 12 week scan I was 13w 2days so it's not strictly @ 12 weeks so to speak.

If you have a Midwife or GP appointment before you hear from them maybe ask?

My 12 week scan was actually booked by my GP (along with a consultant referral) when I went in about a thyroid issue - so they do (certainly in our trust) have the ability to get the ball rolling.

I wouldn't worry to much thought every trust is different but as long as your 'in the system' I'm sure youl hear pretty soon.
