@Wiggle4 Can you call them today and go in for an extra scan? My consultant just said to call anytime and they'd fit me in. I think they understand that this is a very anxious time for those who've had a loss, what with first trimester symptoms easing but not much movement yet. My 16 week one isn't until 5th July too.

On the visitors thing, on the most part, I've not had too many bad experiences of people outstaying their welcome. Depending on who it is they can be handy. I'll be relying on visitors to look after my older two and help out with the school run etc. this time! But if you have any squeamish around breastfeeding relatives, whapping a boob out can help clear them out! 😝 And if it's your first, really cherish the time alone you get with baby/your dh the first few days/weeks. It's a difficult but very special and unique time. I think I maybe just had one or two afternoons a week where we were open to visitors initially and that worked ok. I also ringfenced Saturdays as a family day for a while too after dh went back to work so we could have one day together a week and I could get some decent rest.

Turns out I needn't have worried myself about lack of boob soreness, it's back, along with dizziness and nausea.

Soo... How were the scans today?

Back from my scan, bub measured exactly 7 weeks with a perfect little heartbeat! 😍😭 it was just the most amazing sight. Couldn’t believe it!

Pleased to report that all is well- so far. I have gained almost a week somehow and now 13.4 weeks edd 21st December. Took ages as Baby was doing head stands-

I'm living seeing all these scans, it gives me hope!

Thanks all. My little girl (18 months) grabbed the photo from the table, looked and said baby. I’m surprised she saw a baby in the photo as they are not very clear for children.

@Cakelaur thanks. I’m feeling much better now, I was so pessimistic before but it was great getting that reassurance! I know I’ll be so nervous again for my next scan though haha 🤦‍♀️

@BabynameEdie thanks hun, it’s great 😊 I would love a scan at 9-10 weeks but don’t think my OH will go for it haha. So might be another 5 weeks!
