Rib pain - office job. Can’t cope!

24 weeks pregnant and have really bad pain in my left ribs. I know this is probably due to there being less space for all my organs etc but just wondered if any others dealing with this and any tips on how to relieve it?
I sit at a desk all day and it’s becoming unbearable. I’m really sore by the end of the day and have an hour and half drive home and it’s so sore and uncomfortable. I feel like I can’t even concentrate on work as it’s so sore! I am lucky to be able to home work at times but still need to go into office and it’s most definitely worse there after sitting all day. I have said to my manager and he said ‘oh thought this was the good stage!’ Not very helpful! Any advice great appreciated!

Speak to your midwife to see if they have any advice. They might just tell you to take paracetamol and make sure you get up and walk about during the day. Make sure your chair has good support for your lower back too. I get sore if I'm sitting in a bad position for too long (usually if I'm focusing on something on the computer!). Hope it feels better soon.

Also worth seeing if work can refer you to occupational health? My work bought me a birthing ball to sit on in the office and a wedge cushion for my chair, it all helped with good positioning which helped with the pain.
