Had my scan, so relieved!

A healthy baby boy! I'm so relieved it's unreal.

The only weird part is, my placenta is posterior, not anterior and I still can't really feel anything yet.
He was moving loads during the scan and the sonographer was struggling to get the images needed, but eventually he co-operated.
I didn't feel any of his movements at all!

I've felt some little flutters (I think) but not much more.
She also said he was sitting low in my pelvis and he was facing inwards a lot as we saw his spine most of the time. Maybe he's kicking inwards and that's why I can't feel him. Seems to be his favourite position.

Aah congratulations, lovely scan pictures 😊 All the best for the rest of your pregnancy!! Is this a 20 week scan? They are so clear now! My one is at 13 weeks on the 20th of June :) xx

Awwww congraulation! I think if it’s your first it’s very normal not to feel much movement until 22+ weeks especially if he’s facing in. They’re still so small at that point they can easily hide. Lovely pictures 😁

Congrats!

We had our scan today and have a healthy little girl cooking away. Like you, she was very uncooperative in the scan and despite it saying on my report that I have a postier placenta I have yet to feeling anything other than a few flutters.

I’m sure on a few weeks time we will have no end of movements though :)
