Pregnancy Symptoms After The Pill

Hi Ladies,

First time positing so please excuse me if I say anything wrong!

I have been off the pill for 8 weeks. Had my withdrawal bleed 9th - 11th April and first proper period 9th - 12th May.

According to Clue (app I use to track) I ovulated on 24th May and had sex around that time when my fertility was low on 20th May (4 days before ovulation). Is it possible to get pregnant after sex 4 days before ovulating?

I am not TTC, I wanted to give my body a break from the pill and keep having what I think may be symptoms of pregnancy since around 7 DPO.

I may be being paranoid but wanted to get an idea of whether anyone else has experienced symptoms so early after coming off of the pill and after having sex during low fertility (4 days before ovulation).

I have been feeling extremely tired to the point where I am falling asleep during the day where I never normally would after a full nights sleep. Veins on my breasts seem more prominent. CM is milky/creamy and there is a lot of it and a couple of times it has been odd smelling - sorry TMI!! On and off nausea/headaches and feeling really cold.

Experienced what was stabbing type cramping at 11 and 12 DPO on my left side, only lasted about 1 minute each time but was strong.

AF is due in 2 days from now and no cramping/symptoms of AF so far but not sure if my cycle is back to normal after stopping the pill!

I am finding myself looking online every day at other people’s stories to try and get an idea of what experiences people have had. Sometimes I think I am just getting an idea in my head and anything small becomes a symptom!

Does anyone else have a similar experience? Any help would be hugely appreciated Smile thank you x

sperm can live in the vagina for several days after sex, so of course you could get pregnant days after you had unprotected sex.
Symptoms will always vary. Wait until you are like 3-4 days past being due on and take a test, try to relax until then. or try your luck and get the test that you can test super early, never know, might come back positive! :) xx
