This is our first baby and this pregnancy has been an anxious one on and off. We’ve had a scan at 6 and 8 weeks due to lack of symptoms and saw baby with a heartbeat.
It’s reassured me for a while but now nerves are getting the better of me.
Need some virtual hand holding or a slap lol!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hand hold. Let us know how you get on, if your precious ones were fine hopefully this one will be too!

MyLittleBeee · 05/06/2018 08:08

Another hand hold here. I feel your pain, I'm 7+4 today and had 1 scab where we saw a heartbeat. I thought my legs were going to give way on the walk to the room I was so nervous :(

MyLittleBeee · 05/06/2018 08:08

Scan not scab!

myotherbagisgucci · 05/06/2018 08:21

I was exactly the same for my scan's too, I was a nervous wreck before my first one at 6 weeks. But I distinctly remember the anxiety reducing after my 12 week scan. If it helps reassure you, my DD is now 5 months and we're sat watching Peppa Pig! 😊

Good luck for you scan tomorrow. Thanks

Frenchiemamax · 05/06/2018 08:46

Meant previous not precious!

frasier · 05/06/2018 08:48

I remember feeling like that. Flowers

Let us know how you get on

Virtual hand hold! Hope it all goes well.. it's completely normal to feel like that and I probably will too in 2 weeks time for mine but I'm sure it will be okay!
Defo let us know how you get on! X

TinyTerror1 · 05/06/2018 10:08

I'm 22 weeks and have had scans at 12, 16 (due to suspected issue but all ok) and 20 weeks. I was nervous before all of them! It's unavoidable unfortunately, especially if you're prone to anxiety as I am. Thankfully I now feel baby moving pretty much every day so I am far less worried all the time. Hope all goes well tomorrow xx

MrsCrumbtious · 05/06/2018 18:10

Thanks lovelies, still a bag of nerves! Hoping that this is just a chilled out baby 😉

Hi lovely, it's very normal to feel like this, but I would be grateful of no symptoms at this time.
I first realised I was pregnant at six weeks after throwing up hideously for over a week, thinking I had a bug!! I have been very sick through the whole pregnancy up until around two weeks ago!
I was very scared of everything, and still pretty scared now haha but if there's one thing I've learnt it's that a woman's body can do amazing things! Just before I found out I had a two day bender for my birthday and a massive Halloween party!
But here I am pregnant with 4 and a bit weeks to go, with my little boy Archie x

Scan went really well today can’t believe how much of a wriggler this little crumb was and so grateful to feel almost normal. Thank you ladies for your kind words and support. Time to relax and start looking for baby things 😍

jeanzbeanz · 06/06/2018 23:23

Congrats, I have the same feeling of anxiety, don't know how I'll make it to 12weeks!! 7 to go!

Shellash · 08/06/2018 11:23

I had my 12 week NT scan today and she couldnt tell me said my results would be sent to my midwife and reviewed with yhe blood tests. That must be a bad sign is it? Im completely freaking out

MouseLove · 08/06/2018 11:49

Awww congrats. I'm 15 weeks and had no symptoms, be thankful!!!! I've only been very very tired.

Shellash, thats normal. You'll get your results in the post in around 2 weeks. Nobody can give you the results at your scan. X

MrsCrumbtious · 08/06/2018 17:23

Have you got papernotes to read @shellash? My blood test results won’t be back until next week via post (unless there is a problem they will call). My notes say the NT measurements were normal so if you have them to hand perhaps see if you can look them up there
