Gaining weight in your last trimester?

I was just wondering how much weight you gained during your 3rd trimester? I have already nearly gained 2 stone (29 weeks) and it's freaking me out!! How much weight did you or have you put in the last few weeks?

Don't worry! I'd put on about 2 1/2 stone by your stage, then put on another few pounds in the last trimester. It all came off really quickly, DD is 7 months now and it's all gone bar a couple of pounds!

I gained 45 pounds in each of my pregnancies (pretty well distributed out in the 3 trimesters). I lost it completely both times with very little trouble and no dieting.

At 29 weeks I had gained 1 stone and between 29-37 weeks I gained another 2 stone!

I gained two stone by thirty weeks then another stone in the last ten weeks....

I gained 2 and a half stone in my last pregnancy. I probaby gained about half a stone in the last trimester. I lost it all within about 3 months (although it was re-distributed at first so I still had a podgy tummy. Must have had really skinny ankles or something to compensate - lol)

This time around I am 37 weeks pregnant and have gained 2 stone in total. I haven't been gaining any weight towards the end this time but that is actually a problem. You need to be eating really well now as the baby is laying down fat and I haven't been eating enough for both us of apparently (NOT deliberate - I have been feeling quite sick and off my food)

I've been told to have 8 small meals a day to try to keep the food intake up.

Don't worry about gaining weight, it does come off! Especially if you breastfeed!

Thank you all for replying. I guess everyone is different - I just hope I don't gain too much!
