stopping folic acid

Hi all. I will be 12 weeks on 14th June, and i will have 3 tablets left in the pack, but i also still have a new box of 56. one a day.
question is, do i stop taking them on the 14th or finish the pack, or take the next pack too?
I don't know what to do.
Carry on or stop.

it's up to you - my midwife said i could stop after 12wks (don't think the folic acid has any effects after that) which i did and baby is fine

no probs - a lot of people take them right up to the end, but they tend to be the 'all in one' vits/folic acid

forgot to say congrats on the pg

and, you could always keep them for next pg, they usually stay in date a couple of years

oh gawd, not planning on next one coming along until this bean is about 5.
But accidents do happen

you might chnage your mind after having the bean....i will have 1wk between my ds's 1st birthday, and my due date for this one, so i was glad i didn't give tablets away!!
