Hey Everyone,
I'm new here and would love some advice please!
I'm just over 8 weeks pregnant, I am completely exhausted, all I want to do is sleep, but can't! In the last three weeks I haven't slept a whole night without waking up 2/3 times throughout the night! Then when I get the chance I'm falling asleep/napping through the day, is this normal, will things get better?
Any advice would be very much appreciated!

I'm 31 weeks now (still a while to go I know!) but I have to say the exhaustion of the first trimester was like tiredness I'd never experienced before in my whole life. Worse than a 30 hour journey to New Zealand!

Sadly not sleeping well at night is a very common theme in pregnancy from what I've read... initially the nausea/worry/needing to wee, then back pain, restless leg syndrome, needing to wee, shoulder pain, hip pain, acid reflux, struggling to breathe when bump is big, leg cramps etc

I have to say even now in 3rd trimester I am no where near as tired as I was before 14 weeks, it does get easier for sure :-)

Congratulations on your baby :-)

One of the few symptoms that have stayed with me is fatigue both in 1st and 2nd trimester and back pain in my 2nd trimester... No way to get around it 😔

I’m 21 weeks tomorrow and for the first I’d say 19 weeks I’ve had indescribable exhaustion like my body can’t move zombie feeling only now am I starting to feel remotely energised. The exhaustion is actually hell on earth

Thanks everyone, good to hear thing get slightly better later on! Hopefully soon than later, guessing there's nothing I can do to help/make me feel better?
Thanks for all your advice x
