Just wanted to rest my mind i have a uti and ive been put on cefalexin 500mg 2 tablets every 8 hours is this safe to take as much as this ?

If the Dr who prescribed it knows you're pregnant you can take it no problem.

Untreated uti can cause early labour so you need antibiotics.

cefalexin is one of the antibiotics which is deemed as safe for pregnant women to be taking. As is the penicillin group (fun fact, cefalexin is the default alternative for penicillin group antibiotics). Doctors will have a list that are deemed safe and as long as they're aware you're pregnant, they will only prescribe from that list.
