My baby is due very soon and think he may be settling down into my pelvis and the pressure “down there” is bad. 3 days ago I got an uncomfortable itch in my bottom. I ignored it but then the next day there was a lump sticking out of my bottom and was very very sore!! I put some sudocrem on and pushed this lump back inside and it felt much better but it kept popping back out. It’s been like that all night and today and Iv been taking regular parametemol to keep the pain away. I’m too embarrassed to go and see someone about it, so is there anything I can use to shrink this lump back down ?

Sounds like haemorrhoids (or piles). I think you can get cream, but maybe go to the GP to check. They honestly will have seen this 1000 times so there’s no need to be embarrassed

definitely piles. It runs in my family (my father suffers) and i have had them myself for no reason really. Im only 15+6 so i know ill probably have them later on too lol (so excited for that...)

Deffo go docs now, they'll give you some cream and maybe suppositories which will sort it out in a day or so :) if you can get to the docs, just go the pharmacy and check that its okay during pregnancy and get some over the counter. In the mean time, eat lots of fiber and for god sake try not to strain when you go to the loo, this will make it worse. good luck and dont be embarrassed, its quite common anyway, and even more so in pregnancy! xx

Hehehe this was me one week ago! I laugh because I felt so awkward about talking to someone about it. Anyways I've managed to get rid of it after talking to my partner and him telling me his secret pile story he has never shared. GrinBlush

My dad gave me some tips and it's work, use a bar of soap a few time a day with a hot Flannel and clean the area and pay dryI then used some piles cream from Tesco's, think it was called germoid. Put it on only twice and it's gone!

I just woke up one morning and it was there!!!!! And now I'm like oh great..... I could give birth at anytime.... what's the aftermath of that going to be like on my boor bum!
