Anyone got pregnant immediately after a mc? I misscaried @8weeks on the 30th April and bled for just over a week and confirmed negative test on the 15th May. My period has still not arrived. I was regular before and so basing on my normal cycle I would be a week late assuming start of bleed is start of cycle. I tested on Friday with the last test I had and was negative. Could I be pregnant already? I feel slightly nauseous and have my normal pregnancy like symptoms (this would be my 4th pregnancy (2 m/cs)....
When should I test again or how long should I leave it before going to gp with no period?
Thanks!

Yes, this is possible - I had an early M/C, bled with that and then conceived during that cycle (i.e. no further periods after M/C). I believe it's not all that unusual

However, M/C can also mess up your cycle so I'd maybe give it a bit longer before testing again.

Hi, Sorry to hear about your loss, i miscarried in 2016 at 9 weeks, and found myself pregnant again after 1 month in between.

keep trying, fingers crossed for you

You can, but with an 8 week miscarriage you would be unlikely to fall back into your normal cycle. It would take your HCG a few weeks to fall to 0 and most people won't ovulate until 2 weeks after that happens. Miscarriage can also disorder your hormones which causes progesterone-based "pregnancy" symptoms and means it can take longer for your cycle to reset. I didn't have a period until 7 weeks after my 7wk loss, and I don't think I ovulated at all that month, but I had constant "symptoms" and tortured myself with negative test after negative test.

So yes, lots of people conceive again straightaway, but sadly lots also have to wait a bit for the cycle to reset. Your GP won't do anything until it's been several months. Some things just take time.

So I did this cheapy test today. Am I right to cautiously get excited...
although after having 2 m/c in a row that's hard to do. Star

I miscarried at 5 weeks in April and I’m now 7 weeks.
