Severe back pain at 14 weeks - any advice?

Hi ladies
What it says really! I've had a niggly twinge in my back since 10 weeks, but the last few days it has got really bad, like wincing and crying out loud bad. My belly seems to be starting to 'pop' out so not sure if thats what is making it so bad. Got a doctors appointment for it next week as on holiday this week.
Anyone got any advice on easing the pain? I've tried cat stretches but get halfway and stop as pain is so bad!

Maybe see an osteopath?

Thanks, hoping the doctor will send me to see one or a physio... just have to get through to next Monday!

Osteopathy sorted me out after one session. I had horrible pain in my tailbone from about week 11. When I was 15 weeks I was due to go on a long-haul flight (12 hours) and had a week of constant walking ahead of me. The day before the flight I went to see an osteopath. One day later and the pain was gone and hasn't come back since (now 23 weeks along). Best £50 I've spent so far in this pregnancy!
