This is baby no.3. I had EMCS for number 1 and ELCS for number 2. This one has to be a ELCS too.

I am in pain around my scar and pelvis but not labour pain and I am having smelly browny pink discharge in my knickers.

I am 70 miles from the hospital and wondering whether I should call the labour ward who i’ve Been given the number of. I feel like they’ll just tell me to come in, as they’ve been quite clear with CS no.3 that I should not go into labour.

Is it worth leaving til tomorrow? Or should I call now?

You must call labour ward! Any sort of discharge that smells and has color to it just be checked out, especially with pain. That doesn't sound right. It sounds really worrying tbh. I am due my third c section and was told that if I have any pain with bleeding then I must go in straight away. Please don't leave it until tomorrow, anything could be going on and it's not worth the risk of leaving it. What does the discharge look like? Is it thick, watery, like blood? How much of there is it in your knickers and what about when you wipe? Pink and brown sounds like old and fresh blood. I don't think it sounds like the start of labour but it could be an infection or anything to do with your section scar. Could even be your micous plug coming away? I know it's hassle to travel so far but you have to think of your baby. Is there no hospital nearer to you at all? I would call, just to be sure, see if they think it sounds worrying and then make a decision on that.
