Massive pram wobble

So we've bought the Cosatto wow travel system, I have a small car it fits nicely in the boot, seems to push easily , steer well etc. We got the Dawn chorus pattern which we'd only seen online, Mothercare do the model but not that pattern. It looks like a tweed type fabric, but I've just opened the box and it's almost printed. I think I hate it. AIBU??? I get tweed fabric is not practical for inside but I thought at least the carry cot would be a textured fabric. DH thinks it's fine but it's got to last quite a long time, but I'm not a fan of the other prints and I really like the system itself and there are a lot that won't fit in my car. Help!!

A tweed pram would be a NIGHTMARE. Trying to get all the grotson that small people produce out of that sort of fabric would be soul destroying. You want something easy to wipe down, which this seems to be.

I understand wanting to have a nice pram (I obsessed over finding the right double pram for my twins) but I promise you that you will not give a shiny shit what it looks like if it's practical and meets all your needs.

Are you able to return it? If so I would. I’ve had pram regret the whole time I’ve had ours. It’s super practical now but didn’t parent face without the carrycot which I didn’t realise would be so important to me. Ended up buying another cheap one that did the job and bridged the 6month gap till I was happy with DD world facing. But when I say cheap it was still £160! I wish I’d got something else to begin with. X

If you’re not happy now it’ll annoy you.

Only you know if you like the fabric print enough.. but I can vouch for the pram model. I have one and it's been great. Easy to manouvere and keep clean and also fits in my tiny car. Can you exchange for another print? If it makes any difference I think the print is lovely and I would have chosen that if it had been an option when I looked even though I really like mine too .

I think it's a lovely pattern. Agreed tweed wouldn't really work on a pram surely it would get filthy and be nigh on impossible to clean? I also have the Wow although in a different pattern. Am yet to use as only 37 weeks and no baby yet. But hopefully it will be good. Got a great deal on it when Toys R Us was closing down Grin.

Do you hate it, or is it just different to what you expected? I agree the tweed type fabric wouldn't work for a pram (be a nightmare to clean and keep dry), and cosatto are pretty much known for this type of fabric/design so any of their models will be similar style. I personally think practicality trumps looks but I don't have to push it

You won’t find a buggy made of tweed. That’s a nightmare waiting to happen.
