Dairy making sickness worse??

I swear dairy is making my morning sickness worse.
I ate cheese and biscuits the other night and woke up with all day sickness.
I ate a small amount again the following day and felt sick again a few hours later.
I had a ‘day off’ dairy and I had sickness in the morning and gone by lunch.

Same today, but I’ve just eaten chocolate coated biscuits and now feel sick as a dog.

I googled it and some random article suggested dairy to help morning sickness.
So is it all in my head?!

Ugh dairy was really bad for me too. It calmed down around 5 months but chocolate was the worst

When I was pregnant it was curry. The smell, taste everything about it made me sick for hours and I love curry. Sometimes your body just does weird things. I would lay off dairy for now and try again once your morning sickness starts to subside later in pregnancy (if it does). Hopefully it will all at least pass by the time baby comes. Grin

Definitely laying off the dairy. Urgh, yak.

All dairy made me vomit when I was pregnant with my first. It was horrible! I worried that the baby would be intolerant to milk and that I'd have to give it up for good. The problem disappeared as soon as DD was born and she's fine with dairy too.

Funny you should say that as my youngest is anaphylactic to dairy so I was wondering whether this one would have a dairy allergy too!

Oh really? Fingers crossed your new baby doesn't have the allergy. It must be worrying for you with your first.

The protein in dairy is hard to digest, very common.

Nah not really. It’s like water off a ducks back now to be honest.
