I'm 39 weeks, not desperate or uncomfortable just bored and really want to meet her. She moved right down a couple of days ago and I can feel her head very low so I'm hoping it won't be too much longer.

Anyway, more for my amusement than anything, any weird and wonderful (and safe!) ways you reckon could give her a bit if encouragement?

I am doing the following (every now and again, not constantly)

Bouncing and grinding on my birth ball
Drinking pineapple juice
Relaxing bath with lavender and rose essential oil bath products
Sexy fun times
Raspberry leaf tea

Spicy food is out, the heartburn would finish me off.

I know, I know, she'll come when she's good and ready, I'm just bored, give me something weird to do for fun please

Or I've seen some people clean the kitchen floor on hands and knees etc somehow that works for some 😂

Hmm... might leave cleaning for a last resort!

I feel exactly the same! 38 weeks and just want him out now! Lol I've tried birthing ball, spicy food with a none stop heartburn attack after so won't try that one again! Walking the dog twice a day, sex... I've got a sweep next week! Well want to avoid that one though lol, apparently dancing helps haha

I swear bouncing on the birthing ball and walking up and down stairs got both of mine out! DS at 42 weeks and DD at 37 weeks (DD induced).

Cosmoa · 03/06/2018 05:08

@BumpInTheOven just a heads up... If you're planning on breastfeeding you'll have to be quick to sleep on your front before your milk comes in!

Sex worked for me at 39+1....had sex that night at around 10pm and had baby in arms at 5.50pm next afternoon! Labour was only around 2hrs x
