HG weight gain, or lack of...

Got weighed today at 38 weeks, first time since booking in at 8. I have gained... 1 kilogram!

Tbh I think I'd rather have gained more and NOT had HG but I do feel somewhat vindicated by the mathematics behind it - it's serious and it bloody SUCKS.

Big love to all the HG sufferers out there, struggling to keep down tap water. You are heroes!

I was weighed at my appointment last Thursday at 34weeks and found out im actually 3kg lighter than my booking appointment. I was big before pregnancy and midwife said "as long as you lost it healthy then well done" I laughed in her face and pointed out not being able to eat kinda has that affect on a body. I can't wait to stop vomiting! Im so tired of it. :(

HG is horrendous. Had it really awfully for about 20 weeks but now ok-ish controlled on cocktail of meds so have been gaining weight at a fast rate since then. Very sorry to hear meds and the passing weeks didnt help you that much :-( it's the worst health condition I've ever had by a long way!

My midwife said 'oh well done' after the weigh in. DH and I pretty much laughed in her face.

HG sucks, I have never felt so ill in my life. At 40 weeks I was lighter than when I started it off. However, despite how much worrying I did DD was completely unaffected and a healthy 7 lb 14 oz.

As soon as I had her the sickness went away and I was 3 dress sizes smaller than before I was pregnant (unfortunately that didn't last long)
