Has anyone had an early miscarriage followed by a successful pregnancy?

For anyone that had a chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage followed fairly quickly by a successful pregnancy.... - Were your 2ww symptoms the same with both or did they differ in any way?

I had a cp last month and I am now in the 2ww of the following cycle and I’m finding it so hard not to compare the two! X

I had a MC/CP at 5w4d last summer, I don't recall having any symptoms during the 2ww. I fell pregnant again after having 2 normal cycles post MC. This time in the 2ww I had extreme fatigue and a strong sense of smell, it was this that lead me to test at 10dpo. Currently 35w with that BFP.

Possibly me...had a very early loss in feb, had one period and then conceived after that. Currently about 11 weeks, but, I don't know if all is ok yet. My scan is next week. I've read so much about missed miscarriage that I'm convinced I'll be getting bad news. In the 2ww with the loss I had a sore throat and a strong sense of smell, but this time nothing really, just had a feeling and did a test a few days before AF was due and it was positive. Hoping so much that this one will have a happier ending. I hope you get your Bfp, Op, the 2ww is absolute torture x

I had three early miscarriages (5.5, 5 and then a missed one found at 7 weeks) in pretty quick succession and then my current pregnancy (nearly 34 weeks). In all four I had the same symptoms of sore and swollen breasts a few days before my period was due and nothing else. In fact, I didn't get any other symptoms until around 9 weeks with this pregnancy - I had previously thought my lack of symptoms was because the pregnancies were destined to fail, but it turns out it's just what my body does. So I don't think you can tell anything much from symptoms either way.

Wishing you lots of luck, and that this cycle is the one for you.

Both of our DCs were conceived after early miscarriages. DC1 on the third cycle after and DC2 on the very next go. The wait for DC1 was especially torturous.

I'm sorry for your loss and wish you lots of luck.
