Hi I am on holiday but before I left I was told I had a uti and was given amoxicillin however the symptoms of my UTI are still around! I'm 10 weeks pregnant has anyone else had it where the antibiotics don't feel like they are working....? Advice would be greatly appreciated anxious as I had a miscarriage in Jan at 6 weeks after a UTI!

As sombody who suffers with UTIs all the time I can advise your UTI is either back if the course of antibiotics wasn’t strong enough, it’s not a UTI it’s a yeast infection (sometimes the symptoms are very similar) or it’s chronic cystitis. Have you tried AZO? It’s a dye that dyes your urine and bladder but is a great painkiller for UTIs.

Try drinking two bottles of cold water in a ten minute period and holding going off for a wee as long as possible, it will dilute the bacteria and should ease the pain.
