Long story short, any help would be appreciated.
I have had PCOS, it took my husband and I just over a year to get pregnant.
After a week of feeling like crap, I did a test and got a big fat positive. I was meant to be 9 weeks pregnant counting from the last day of my menstrual period. Again PCOS can mess these around a bit but on average my period comes at around the same time of each month.
Due to an previous early miscarriage, and after some light bleeding I had an early pregnancy scan. They told me that instead of being 10 weeks and 4 days I was in fact 6 weeks! I have a tilted cervix so it was hard for them to see, and had to do internal scan.
Roll on my first anomoly scan and they pushed me forward 2 days so again measuring 4 weeks and 2 days behind, didn't think too much of it.
Due to other health conditions I have regular scans. I have one at 27 weeks which showed he actually measured really big. He weighed 3lbs 3ozs and his body length was the size of 31 week old. Even my obstetrician said "oh he's chunky".
I am overweight but I've only put on 6lbs throughout the whole pregnancy. Gestational diabetes has come back as negative and all else seems okay.
I keep having my tummy measured and every time it's coming back as him measuring 4 weeks ahead. In fact I need an emergency next week as booked by my midwife to check on his growth. At the moment I am 31 weeks but he is measuring 35 weeks.
I know I should have faith in my clinicians and to an extent I do, but it just seems so odd they pushed me back 4 weeks and now he is measuring 4 weeks ahead.
I'm just nervous because they want to avoid me having a cesarean due to health risks and the bigger he gets the less chance of a vaginal delivery. Not just that but I also planned on finishing work at 35 weeks but IF I was 4 weeks ahead that means I would be 39 weeks..
Has anyone else been in the same position? Any ones dates been so out of wack and they have changed your due date? Not too sure what to expect!
Thanks in advance.
