Ultrasound - worried

I'm worrying about my ultrasound.
I had a big baby last time and have been left with a flabby belly and covered in stretch marks. I'm not huge overall - 5,6 9st 8lb so 12 but my belly is awful.
I can't get over the thought of my huge stomach at the ultrasound and them laughing at the awful silver stretch marks.
Will they be able to scan me?

Nobody will laugh.

And they will scan you. Trust me they are professionals and it’s their job to practice a medical scan not judge you

Yes they will be able to scan you. I have a much bigger belly than it sounds like you have (size 16 and carry all my weight on my belly since having ds) and they were able to scan me. The picture was very clear.

And of course they won’t laugh, they are professionals and will have seen all sorts.

They scan women of all shapes and sizes all day, every day.

I doubt they’ll even notice your stretch marks and they certainly won’t laugh 💕
