I am 9wks and have just realised im not having any milk in my diet. I have a bit of cheese and yoghurt but that is really all the diary i am having. There might be calcium in my mulit-vit.

Should i start drinking milk?

I've been having cocopops to up my dairy intake. I like the chocolatey milk haha

i try to have a nice big gulp of milk before i leave for work, but dont worry about it too much! Too much dairy actually flares up my morning sickness so i have to be careful. Remember there is milk/calcium in most things we eat throughout the day that you wouldnt even imagine lol, things like pasta, breads, some sauces in curries, pasta, fish/meat dishes xx

I found myself really wanting to drink milk so I have been. I think it's most important a little later when the bones start forming but if you can stomach milk then I would say yes, add it to your diet.

I can't stand milk so I didn't. I have tea with milk, cheese, that's it really. Same when I was pregnant.

I can’t and won’t drink milk, it’s gross. I agree with having it on cereal or in porridge.

I’ve never drink milk as I hate it. Occasionally i have some cheese , but I had two healthy kids. There is lots of calcium in green leafy veg.
I also had a bone scan recently and all is well.

@TinyTerror1 I'm exactly the same! Never drunk milk before in my life and now all of a sudden I can't get enough!!

I usually love dairy - but couldn't stomach any of it in the first tri. I made sure I had leafy green salad and veg and kept up the prenatal multivitamins. All looking good!
