Please tell me I'm not alone? I am fed up. I feel huge and uncomfortable and I'm getting pretty bored of everyone telling me how big my bump is.

It's like I have constant PMT and the smallest thing just makes me want to either burst into tears or scream into a pillow Angry

I'm hoping it passes as I can't take another 6-8 weeks of feeling like this!
Just want to meet my baby.

Not alone. 33 weeks and have suddenly become over-emotional and feel constantly stressed. Not helped I think by thoughts of everything I need to get done at work before mat leave starts in 2 and a half weeks, at the same time as trying to sort our house, which just seems to be full of junk and in need of a serious clean.

With you 100%. Am 36 weeks and mainly want to kill people at the moment. I've got SUCH bad swelling in my hands and feet as well because of the heat and humidity I feel like a hot air balloon Sad
Have also started to get hip pain and general aches from moving around which also sucks.
Have you had much in the way of Braxton Hicks? I'm not convinced I've had any so far but am a FTM so don't know what they're like?

At about 36 weeks my dd turned back to back causing crippling back pain that meant I had to bounce on a ball for most of the day and night. I got around 2 hours broken sleep in 24 hours for about 2 weeks. Thankfully she righted herself before the birth! It was grim. Please, I know it's so hot, incredibly uncomfortable and hormonal for you, try to enjoy it. I missed my bump terribly even though bump was in my arms it was odd! I wish I had gotten to enjoy those last few days. I hope the hormones allow a bit of chill out and perhaps a pregnancy massage and rest and relaxation will get you to enjoy things too!!

Thanks for your replies...Glad it's not just me but sorry you are all feeling the same Thanks

@Eggoispreggo (love the name) yes I am getting BH almost daily, particularly if I do a lot of walking. They are not painful as such more just a bit annoying.

I'm on maternity leave now thankfully as I'd really had enough (shift work- very physically demanding and stressful job - on my feet all day etc) so I'm trying my best to relax and nest etc. I actually love being pregnant mostly and of course feeling baby move is lovely (but getting more uncomfortable) so I know I need to suck it up as so many women have such difficult pregnancies compared to me.

Sorry meant to say the Braxton Hicks for me are just my bump going completely hard for 30-60 seconds. Sometimes they come and go for up to an hour, other times I might just get 1-2. No pain. It's my first baby too.

Thank you for starting this thread 🙏 im 35 weeks and im so breathless, heartburn all day long, leg cramps, broken sleep, i feel massive and no position is comfortable!

I just want baby to come now, im getting so impatient! Ive just started maternity leave as well, and mentally im all go go go but physically just want to be in bed all day! But its all a blessing so dont like to moan!

Eggoispreggo · 31/05/2018 07:54

Babbaganoush thanks, I feel like I keep waiting for these BH to arrive and I'm either not noticing them or not getting them?
I definitely shouldn't complain as I've had a very straightforward pregnancy so far, it's just this damn swelling!! Seeing the midwife today so I'll see if she's got any miracle cures for me 😂

RicStar · 31/05/2018 08:00

Also 34 weeks also sooo fed up. This is dc3 and others were late so know I have ages left. Grhhh. I didn't get / feel BH with my first but did with dc2 and this one. As above your bump goes hard but they are just annoying no pain (for most). I wish I had good advice but it is a tedious phase and I am such a grump.

I am so glad someone has started this thread! I am 33+2 and I am really over being pregnant now.
I haven't really enjoyed any of it as I have just had one thing after another, but the heat last weekend was really hard work!
I feel huge, uncomfortable, hip pain has returned, restless legs, and I am trying to get sorted to finish work on the 15th which I am worrying I wont have everything done in time Hmm

I had a growth scan yesterday though which did up my spirits a bit as all was well, and we got told she has loads of hair and also her dads prominent frown, which was a really nice little pick me up Smile

Ahh so glad I read this! I'm 36 weeks and last night had a huge go at my dh for plugging the fan in on the opposite side of the room... Struggling with prickly heat and in my sleep will scratch until I bleed Confused other than that I've been super lucky but cannot wait for baby to be here now.
