Looking for reassurance (early scan)

Hello ladies! I thought I was 6 weeks pregnant today. Monday night I bled bright red blood but it stopped almost as soon as it started (tmi but no clots etc) anyway I went to get checked out Just incase and they told me that they couldn’t scan because it was bank holiday. I went in for a scan today and the lady said that I look earlier than 6 weeks and that she could see the sac but nothing else. She didn’t seem too worried but with DD1 at 5 weeks and 5 days I could see her and her heartbeat so I’m extremely worried about this one. Just looking for some positivity or any positive stories :-( xxxx

That looks just as mine did about 5/5&half weeks... I had a scan on the Tuesday and saw nothing then went for a second scan on the Thursday and I saw a sac just like that. Exactly 1 week later I went back for third scan and saw a fetal pole and heart beat... have they booked you for a scan next week? X

That makes me feel a whole lot better! I’m booked in for a re scan on the 8th so hopefully by then they’ll be able to see something xxxx

Looks identical to my scan too! 2 weeks later we saw a teeny tiny fetus and a cracking heartbeat. Currently 36 weeks!

Thank you both for your replies! I think I’m just worrying so much because with my first baby i could see the heartbeat straight away and everything was all good but this time round it all feels so uncertain :-( xxxx

Update* I started bleeding again today :-( quite a bit and really painful, phoned the epu and they said they’ll scan me on Tuesday but that’s the best they can do, not looking good and can’t stand the wait knowing I’m bleeding :-( xxxx
