Hi everyone. Im new to mumsnet, im 21weeks pregnant, with my fourth😱 baby!! I was just wondering (i do apologise if this is too much information) if anyone else feels like their lady area has been kicked by someone with steel toe capped boots on?, sitting, standing in fact most movements with the top of my legs involved makes me want to cry. It feels really bruised and im just looking for any advice to help this, if anyone has been unfortunate enough to deal with this?. Thank you in advance🧚🏽‍♀️✨

Yes! Think it's from the extra pressure. Witch hazel gel on a sanitary pad helped a bit, and sleeping with my feet propped up on a pillow. My midwife also recommended compression tights and paracetamol in case it's vulvar varicose veins... The joys!

Hi ladies!

Oh god yes!

I'm 29 weeks with second and I wear steelies for a living so I totally get that feeling.

Feels like he's gonna punch or kick his way out and it's weird jabbing aches. I have mild SPD though so probably doesn't help.

Sit on a cool towel from fridge and it helps!

I have this at 27 weeks :( it felt so heavy and sore and bruised today that walking was so uncomfortable. I’ve checked down there and think I have a varicose vein lining the inside of one of the lips.. really sucks since I get thrush on and off too since 24 weeks. Think I will start taking paracetamol to work to relieve the pain.

I think ill try paracetamol and a cool towel, in fact ill try anything if itll help ease the pain. I cant believe how heavy and bruised it feels, i really struggled with work today, and im currently camped in my bed but any movement is just insane painful.... i didnt even know we could varicose vains down there... ill have to keep an eye out for that!! Thank ladies for replying and hope the pain calms soon xx
