Breast Changes Third Trimester

Hey all, 33 weeks and today I noticed a few bizarre things with my breasts and was wondering if anyone else had experienced them. There seems to be a raised slightly red patch half on my areola and I have no idea what it is. It doesn't seem to be tender or anything. Then when I had a closer look it looks like the pigment in my areola is kinda spreading (like freckles) over my breast. Not all over but enough to notice. This is happening on both breasts. I've been leaking since 28 weeks and it's becoming more and more every day. I also slept without a top or bra on last night because I was so hot so maybe the red patch is irritation? Anyway I've text my midwife to see if she can call me and hopefully Advise me on if I need to make an appointment with my doctor.

I'm 30 weeks... No leaking or anything yet... Hmm, maybe I should phone midwife to see if that's normal?!

@Aw12345 your fine, I spoke to my midwife and she said everyone's different, my boyfriend woke up covered the other night.... I laughed so hard! But it's a pain in the ass, and only happened when I lay in a certain way, my boobs are huge too so I think it's the pressure when I lay on my side x

My nipples are similar to what you describe, they have been since probably late in the second trimester although I've had no leaking (I'm 37 weeks). Everyone is different, I wouldn't worry.

@twistedpink ok that's good then. was starting to worry... (Not least because of the cost of formula milk Grin)
