Hi all!

Looking for some advice as I have just found out I am pregnant.

I am at very early stages however I’m not sure what I should do next or when.

I know I need to take folic acid but can anyone tell me how long I should wait to make an appointment with the midwife and also how do I do this?? (Read on here that you have to do this online, is this correct)??

Thanks in advance!

Congratulations!

Ring your GP and ask for a midwife booking in appointment. This is usually done at around 8 weeks. They'll let you know if there is a midwife on site or if you need to ring somewhere else.
Seven seas do some good vitamins that you should take (or something similar) for the first twelve weeks.
Enjoy!

My GP told me to just take vitamin D and folic acid. Obviously if you can afford it/don't mind paying, the prenatal vitamins are good too, but apparently not necessary if money is tihgt.
