I'm 19+3, it's my first pregnancy, this was me yesterday.

I was big with my first pregnancy and probably about that size at 20 weeks, people thought I was due when I was only 6 months, people were forever asking if I was sure it wasn't twins.

I am coming up 21 weeks with my first and big already. I have also had alot comments and people asking if its twins. I have a short upper body so there isnt really anywhere for my bump to go except out!
This was me last week.

Im 30 weeks now... Endless comments from people about bump size being too small... Anyway midwife measured it and apparently I'm actually bigger than normal for this stage. I think I learned from that to ignore what people say! What you wear/body shape make bumps look different to different people!

One of my greatest regrets abojt my first pregnancy was listening to and allowing comments on my shape and size. I spent so much time stressing that I was massive, or too small (I'm the same day) and comparing myself to people of similar gestation because others did. It's all utter rubbish unless a hcp has genuine concerns re the baby's growth. To a certain extent you have no control over how your pregnancy develops and I so so wish I'd just revelled in my changing shape and allowed it to happen.

In subsequent pregnancies I was a lot quicker to make it clear that observations of my body were bit welcomed in the same they wouldn't be in my non pregnant state.

My bump last week on holiday (30 weeks) I don't feel that I'm massive. A woman on the till in aldi made me cry with a comment about me being so big she thought I was almost due the week before going away. but most people at work etc have said that I'm tiny! So everyone is different. you might have had a little growth spurt and now won't grow much for a few weeks 😊

Nope.

I have a short body so am bigger than the two women I know who are due a few weeks before me and they are both having second children.

Incidentally I didn't really grow between 16-20 weeks. I had to wear maternity wear from 14 weeks.
