Is it normal to get stitch pains when walking even short distances they are really painful and I have to stop for a while for them to go away.

How far along are you? I'd contact midwifery/EPU for advice depending how far you are x

As pp as said how far along are you?
Early pregnancy could be ectopic
Later on could be stretching
Ligament pains etc

I get it a lot ... less this pregnancy than the last. My midwife although sympathetic said not a lot can be done as it’s to go to with ligaments 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah I've had this on and off throughout my whole pregnancy tbh. Not all the time but just now and then, although now I'm 37 weeks I get it a lot more because I can't walk very far without getting knackered and have to walk very slow too Blush.

milney25 · 28/05/2018 19:42

I had this a lot between 27 and 29 weeks x

Icklepickle101 · 28/05/2018 19:44

Is it possibly Brixton hicks? I get them near enough every time I stand up now at 32 weeks. Drinking more water has helped

cornishmumtobe · 28/05/2018 19:47

I had this a lot during my pregnancy. Really annoying if I needed to walk somewhere in a rush - I just couldn't!

Jenna43 · 28/05/2018 21:02

I used to get these pains too, they're really sore.

I'm 21 weeks atm, just wanted to make sure it wasnt anything to worry about. Its my first so constant anxiety unfortunately
