5 weeks, big bump! Twins?

Hi all,

I am 5+1 with DC2 and am shocked at my bump! I wasn't this big at 12 weeks with DS and although I know the bump shows earlier with #2 I didn't expect it to be this soon! I was hoping to keep it to myself a little longer but I may not have a choice! I've attached a picture - I am a size 10 normally so the majority of my belly is bump.

Twins run in both sides of our family so I was just wondering if this was a sign of twins for anyone? Obviously the scan will reveal all but I was just curious due to my bump size!

Thanks all Smile

Not a proper bump at 5weeks, sorry. It'll be bloating.

Sorry.
Not a proper bump will be bloating etc
Baby is size of poppy seed still low in pelvis
Even with twins that's not a bump

Thanks ladies!

I've never bloated like this so it's all new to me! I'll just keep up with the water and hopefully pee out some of the water I'm retaining haha!

Even if it was twins, it would be two apple seed sized babies at that gestation so wouldn’t create a bump! It’s bloating.
I am 9 weeks and still really bloated. I never bloat usually!

Another vote for bloating. I had a huge bump at 6 weeks with DS, and didn't feel bloated but one day all I did was burp and fart Blush and it was gone!

You do show earlier with #2 though.

Haha I have been farting a lot so hopefully I'll deflate soon Grin
